line to jump there.0:00Hey y'all good morning um I just realized sitting over there that I'm the transition guy for the transition guy before the real guy shows up and so I felt really good I think0:29I felt good and do that so one thing to remember before pastors come to churches a lot of times pastors are thinking when they come to a church that it's kind of their job to get the church all fired up and excited about doing things for the Lord but actually pastors love coming to churches that are already fired up right already doing things for the Lord already a soul0:56winning church put yourself in the pastor's seat for a second what pastor wouldn't want to come to a church like that so you're actually setting yourselves up for when God brings the man for you guys um for that you're setting yourselves up for just a wonderful pastor because then all he can do is help direct us down those roads of giving and loving and being soul winners and do that so that's exciting um to see that but as I was watching the the video or the picture of Dan up1:21there um something was said that uh he worked for Cisco and then he surrendered to full-time ministry okay I think that's actually an incorrect statement and the reason I say it's an incorrect statement is this um if you're born again and saved okay and you're breathing all right and you know if you are okay you're actually in full-time ministry okay you're in full-time ministry full-time ministry1:46isn't this part of the stage I think full-time ministry is that part of the stage and do that out here doing it when you're doing that love service and all this stuff you and I will tell you more men that I know in their offices and their businesses they're doing more for the work of the Lord than I can dream about doing in my lifetime dream about okay because you're in full-time ministry the moment you got born again and saved does that make sense what I just said does it okay so just be careful2:12trying to say this part of the stage is more important than that part of the stage I completely disagree with that um we had a postal service guy um he heard me at one of these conferences and so we'll do it at one o'clock we're just going to teach you all the basics on sharing your faith how to break through the fear of rejection good questions to get started real fun stuff real easy stuff and he heard me at this conference and so he decided to kick it up a level well he was a postal delivery guy and so he decided at Christmas instead of putting a Christmas card in every single one of2:40the boxes for all the place he delivers mail he decided to put there in a question a nice note then if you died tonight are you a hundred percent assured you're going to heaven much more direct he wanted to do it this year so he put it in all the boxes on his postal route well there was one complaint okay an atheist complaint and called his boss at the postal service uh postal service guy said no he's got the first amendment first amendment rights he can do that if he wants to it's not a problem atheist didn't like3:08it kept calling up the food chain so you finally you can finally find find somebody that'll find that'll back you up right so they actually took the guy aside talked to him well um so as they searched this whole thing out whether it was right or wrong they suspended him okay with pay okay now wait a minute okay um where i come from we call that a vacation is what we call that okay he got suspended for two weeks with pay if that ever happens you ask for four weeks okay instead of two weeks okay i just want to3:36recommend this well he called the ministry and told us i said okay if you need some help let us know whatever and uh they did the whole search on the thing and all they could find out was is that he actually delivered mail without postage that was it they couldn't get him on anything else okay because he just put it in the boxes so he tells me when he goes back to work all the other postal service people want to know where have you where have you been and why were you what suspended he said3:58he got to witness to all the other postal delivery people okay then when he went back on his route what did everybody want to know where have you been we haven't seen you but he said by just him standing bold for god and jesus christ okay it opened up more doors to share the gospel see that's full-time ministry correct yeah that's full-time ministry all right so think in those lines and watch god use you in a really neat way okay so we're going to challenge you with a few things uh this morning4:26but the first thing i want to challenge you with is time i want you to challenge you with time okay i want you to think about time okay every second two people die okay by the time you put your head back on your pillow tonight if the lord allows you to another 150 000 people taking their last breath okay walked off in eternity heaven or hells we speak okay so simple question for you bethel do you care about those two people that just died okay but do you care enough to do something about where those two4:54people are going to spend eternity that just died okay as we sit here two more people just died and two more people just died and for many of us that follow jesus christ we are completely out of focus okay more worried about a nascar championship more worried about how much money i got in a bank account as the economy is not doing so well okay worried about an auburn alabama football game coming up that means a hill of beans and nothing the moment we die correct if gus malzahn and nick saban5:18aren't born again and saved they've absolutely wasted their lives i have no problem saying that absolutely wasted their lives okay this is serious business the moment you meet god okay but you can be here one moment and gone just like that okay i used to be a high school teacher and one of my students brian had a learner's permit and him and his mom were driving in the mountains of tennessee they pull into a convenience store they switch seats brian moves to the passenger seat they pull out in5:44the mountains of tennessee they're driving through the mountains all of a sudden a boulder rolls off the side of the mountain boulder lands directly in the passenger seat and crushes brian dead instantly mother could look over there's a boulder sitting in her car and brian is dead underneath that boulder okay well i knew brian was coming back to school next year oh no brian wasn't brian took off into eternity the question is where's brian at right now is the question all right i live in atlanta and6:09right up the road of pieces the university of georgia a couple years ago some uh some boys were rock climbing up there and also one of the boys the rock climbing his hand slipped and he slipped off the side of the cliff and when he slipped off the side of the cliff uh his clip held and when it came down he fell off and hit the side of that mountain just dangling there dead as can be 18 year old boy eternity just like that okay i was actually telling the story at a at a sports banquet in montgomery alabama and when i finished uh speaking a lady walks up to me afterwards she know the story of the6:39young man that died in the rock climbing accident i said yes ma'am she said that's one of our relatives i said really i said how you doing isn't that a good question just to ask people how you doing okay you'll get more things said to you just by how you doing okay how you doing she said man let me tell you something about this kid we miss this kid so much okay he just had one of those personalities he could walk into a room and the whole room would just light up you know just one of those boys okay he said but let me tell you something about him in high school he committed his life to jesus christ7:06okay can a teenager get born again and saved yes or no yes or no okay are you reaching these teens are you reaching these teens because if you're not reaching them trust me satan is okay i thank god i'm not a teenager in 2014 i struggle with the 80s okay 2014 probably would have destroyed me actually okay but god has allowed teenagers today okay and i will show you teenagers all across america that make most of us adults look like fools for jesus christ bold passionate zealous7:33standing strong for christ okay and just oh amazing to watch them as god's molding them into just big stronger biblical men and biblical women okay he commits his life to jesus christ in high school boldly shared his faith with everybody in high school went to the university of georgia boldly shared his faith with people the university of georgia and as much as we miss this kid we know exactly where he's at isn't that the hope we have as believers hey that's the hope we have when you come8:01to a funeral that's exactly right of another believer you know exactly you're going to see that person again okay all they did was beat you to the throne of god they got there quicker than we did okay but we know we're going to see him again okay because you can be here one moment and gone just like that okay um question for you give me a verbal response okay uh do you believe hell is a real place so you believe hell is an actual real place that people can really go to for all of eternity yes or no okay if you hold that position and you have to hold that position with a biblical worldview you8:29have to hold it that means and you can never ask yourself the question how can i share my faith with this person the only question how can i not share my faith with this person yes completely the wrong question it wasn't how i could witness to nita uh my waitress last night at a brio place over in birmingham last how could i not take the time to talk to her okay who said to me you know i've been thinking a lot lately about what happens when i die okay it wasn't how i could talk to jacob at i think8:54it's called brookwood village mall or something like that last night when i was over with him how could i not take the time to talk to jacob how could i not walk up to the young lady who was sitting there and she had a shirt on it said brazil 2007 hey what does your shirt mean uh because i'll teach you this afternoon just different ways to get into conversation she said oh we did a mission trip to uh brazil back when i was in high school and stuff i said cool how did it go great we start talking i said can i ask you a question she said sure i said were you bolder for jesus christ in brazil9:23or you're bolder for jesus christ at med school at uab where you go right now what was their answer brazil brazil but what's the biggest obstacle we have overseas is always what it's always language right but here in america pretty much everybody can understand but we're bolder over there when i believe jesus christ can be just as bold in the dominican republic as he is here in birmingham alabama isn't that correct that's correct but why are we bolder there and not here9:51but i've had all these fascinating talks in the last 24 hours but hell is a very real place people are really going there and do you and i care enough to stop anybody and everybody from going to that place okay you've heard about near-death experiences where people flatline and see white lights and tunnels yes or no you've heard about those yes or no okay during my times of meeting and witnessing to people i have now met 31 people who flatlined ready for this who saw the hell experience and not10:17the heaven experience just the opposite of what you hear from people okay friend of mine flatlined end of his saw a lake of fire he could feel this intense heat from okay think about that does the bible talk about a lake of fire matthew 25 book of revelation i've had more and more people tell me about this lake of fire that they saw okay you heard of uh charles barkley the basketball player right over from leeds uh charles and i were at auburn together we played together over there the person who got the lake of fire10:46experience uh was his younger brother named daryl he saw a lake of fire he could feel the intense heat off and one time i was witnessing to charles i said charles you do know what happened to your brother right i said you don't you do know what daryl saw don't you charles he said yes i do i said charles this isn't a game this isn't a game basketball is a game the moment you're one-on-one with god games up at that point is that correct game is way up at this point and i told him one day i said charles i love11:12hanging out with you here i said i don't want to hang out with you here so i'm hanging with you there because here is so short and there is so long it's a long time to be friends i want eternal friends i got enough temporary friends i want eternal friends because we're here one moment and gone just like that we had two emts pull a guy out of a car pumping on his chest screaming fire fire flames flames flames there was no fire car wasn't on fire he wasn't on fire they don't know what's up they just11:40keep working on fire fire flames flames flat lines and dies ready for this both emts both atheists both said they could smell a burning sulfur smell as the man flatlined and died both said it was supernatural both said it was hell they never believed it existed until that day y'all this is serious business okay this is very serious business i was talking to a lady one day her husband flatlined and died they paddled nothing worked he died pulled all the wires out wheeled them off in a gurney left12:08in the hallway he's dead ready for this 15 minutes later whoop he sits up on the gurney 15 minutes later okay four and a half minutes your brain's what without oxygen your brain's what it's toast it's history completely fine lived years later told his wife he went down a dark tunnel i have heard more people tell me about this dark tunnel they're going down this dark tunnel he said there was a vapor and a fog he could see and hear people screaming in this fog okay more people tell me the one thing they can't12:34get out of their head years later just the screams of these people and hell the screams he's going down down all of a sudden two hands of light grabbed him told his wife later that he knew it was jesus the light of the world had shown up i have heard this from more than one person they didn't think it was jesus hope it was jesus might have should have could have been jesus they knew it was jesus christ bethel do you know the right answer is jesus christ do you know the right answer is jesus christ13:01okay the right answer for alabama's jesus christ the right answer for america's jesus christ okay america does not have a political problem it has a spiritual problem and once you have a spiritual problem the only thing that can satisfy is a spiritual solution and that's jesus christ you as believers have jesus christ okay how in the world can we keep him to ourselves and it's the answer for every single person that we meet okay grabbed him pulled him up up up up up up hits the top of13:26the tunnel that's when he popped up on the gurney 15 minutes later okay she told me she asked her husband the question honey what was the worst part to that experience and you think it's anything i just mentioned not what the man said the man said the worst part the experience was ready for this he couldn't bring anybody out of there with him oh my my remember the story of a rich man and lazarus when judgment set heaven or hell you shall be there forever and ever and ever and there's no13:52crossing over from one side to the other so one are you sure you're born again and saved you sure you've made that commitment repent and believe upon the lord jesus christ you sure you have because if you're playing a game and can you play a game yes or no yep you can play a game okay if you want to i got you know i want this little get out of hell free card hoping this get out of hell free card is going to work the moment i meet god that's not biblical salvation careful you don't want to play a game14:19here okay but once you're born again and saved now it's our job to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature okay now if you haven't been doing that i'm really big on encouragement that's okay today's a new day is that right today's a new day if i didn't share my faith yesterday it's okay today's a new day i am back on track i am not worried about tomorrow okay i'm not worried about speaking in san antonio next weekend okay i may not get there i gotta worry about today okay but time goes precious it's very precious it goes by so quickly it's scooting by and the questions are14:48we using our time wisely for the lord jesus christ okay so that's what we're going to talk about as we open up the scriptures okay but we gotta do much more than talk about sharing our faith we just need to what just need to do it watch how simple this is anybody here glad someone told you about jesus christ anybody glad someone told you about jesus christ see that's how simple it really is okay you can talk all the auburn alabama stuff you want to i love auburn for one very simple reason four young men told me about jesus christ at auburn okay two football players sat on the end of my bed15:18and told me about jesus christ i was a roman catholic kid i was not into this at all one of those guys gave me a bible i had never owned a bible in my entire life i started reading this book studying this book and here i am 30 years later standing here at your church because four young men cared about this guy's soul i don't care about the auburn alabama stuff okay i care about who's loves jesus christ and then who are you going to walk into because you don't know who you're talking to15:44it might look like a punk basketball player it might be a preacher one day your job is just to talk right our job is just to share our faith is between them and the lord what they do with that okay and that's we're going to talk about as we open up the word okay so let's pray father thank you so much for uh just being uh boy you're an awesome god my goodness i just love reading the scriptures about your grace and your mercy because i need like a billion times of that so i thank you so much for that thanks for your son jesus christ uh gives us all the hope in the world as this cross on the stage16:10here represents that father god thank you for all the service work that was done this summer that was uh really neat to go into brad's office and see all those thank you cards sitting on his desk and uh the lives that we touch but father we just don't want to give meals to people want to give people jesus christ as well uh because that's all that's really going to matter so thank you for the people who did dominican republic and all the rest father god but now as we transition uh into the fall here father god you know the problem here we have in alabama and georgia is our god typically becomes16:37football at this time of year father our god is you that's it bottom line and we need to stand up for you and be bold at these high school football games hand out some gospel tracks when we go to college football games and uh just being strong for you because uh wow what a world we live in father it's getting interesting down here but uh i think we're running out of some days down here but father as the scriptures say you're going to show up and show out at the end of days father god you're going to let people know exactly who you are but father that's our job to do that as17:05well so please encourage us challenge us from the scriptures that we're going to walk at our bolder than we walked in and we thank you for that and we do and we ask it in the great name of your son jesus christ amen amen amen okay grab your bibles for me okay uh hold these things up for me let me see these books i happen to like this book okay um okay um i spoke at uh you heard of uh wheaton college correct here to wheaton college in chicago i spoke at their high school last year called wheaton17:31academy 600 students i said uh hold your bibles up for me uh 598 phones and then of course two boys had nothing and uh and do that okay um uh then i spoke at a christian school in new jersey last year i said hold your bibles and all the kids had good hard bibles okay you want to know how to flip through this book is that correct because those phones may not work one day is that right yeah there's weapons out there that can actually knock out all electronics and those things may not work i mean these are great tools we have this but again i gotta know how to flip through this book and do this okay but i always18:00give two words of advice before you open up your bible okay so every day when i read my scriptures every day i remember these two words advice and it's very simple okay be careful okay this is the most dangerous book that has ever been written in the history of the world okay this book will be preached from pulpits all across the world today okay lost people will read this book and get born again and saved okay this is a life-changing book there has been nothing like this book ever in the history of18:27the world okay so be careful when you open it okay because you're going to hear things this morning you can get argue with me all you want to you'll argue with the word of god the moment you die okay but that's also why this is the most denigrated book in the history of the world right now this book is being ripped to shreds okay all over the place um we can't even have it in our high schools here right but a friend of mine goes to moldova to preach and they want him to preach the gospel in the high18:55schools in russia want him to because when people get saved they become completely different people okay i spoke at a kansas state university a few years ago 400 college students i asked the college students if you've heard anything anti-god anti-jesus or anti-bible in one of your classrooms raise your hand up for me 400 students how many hands went up all but three or four then i said if you've heard anything anti-qoran anti-muhammad or anti-islam raise a hand up how many hands went up it was about19:23three or four then anything anti-hinduism anti-buddhism nothing see there's an attack on one book because this book says you're not right with god your sins are repulsive to a holy god okay but i god love you so much care about you so much i've given you a solution i will give up my son's life for the sins you've committed you must come through me how many ways to get to heaven one way to get to heaven yet someone at the brookwood village yesterday i was chatting with uh jacob19:53and we were talking about can't there be many ways to get to heaven and we'll wrestle with that for you during the during the the training session this afternoon okay that's what the world wants to say i'm afraid that's not what god says though one way to get where you want to go okay so every day you pick up your bible to read it okay before you pick it up before you open it be what be careful it's dangerous book god's going to drill you with something i just asked him to drill me with something every day before i close this book and every day he does trust me my life changes all the time20:22and do that okay grab your bibles let's go to the book of ezekiel okay so you're going to go old testament um if you're open to um the middle of your bible what book will you hit psalms head towards a new testament hit a bunch of big books okay uh and you're gonna hit isaiah jeremiah you're gonna see ezekiel there go to ezekiel 33 and uh so if you get to daniel's right before daniel go to ezekiel 3320:45and we're gonna start in verse 1 ezekiel 33 and verse 1 and it says again and it says again the word of the lord came unto me saying okay the word of the lord came unto me saying in 2014 what's the number one way we get the word of the lord is what in 2014 what's the number one way we get the word of the lord is what21:15reading what our bibles this is where you get the word lord 2014 okay again be careful the bible says in the end of days there's gonna be false christ false prophets and false teachers those are all false religious people in the coming days be much more concerned about religious folk than non-religious folk okay with religious folk we typically take our guard and we drop our guard and that's when the false teaching comes in okay21:42so as i teach all the time guards up okay take your guards and put them up this morning test me this morning most you don't even know who i am test everything i say against the word of god okay test the books i write against the word of god if my books you don't believe line up with the word of god take my books and throw them in a trash can and get on with your life okay this is serious business as we head towards the end here because the bible says the end of days an anti-christ is going to show up now christ means anointed one but anti doesn't always mean against it can also mean in place of22:12so it's going to be somebody in place of the anointed one who's the anointed one jesus christ so it's going to be a fault jesus christ okay now it says in thessalonians that this fault jesus christ and do lying signs and wonders now we typically use the word miracles for that she's going to come on the saints he's going to do all these miracles people are going to see the miracles and they're going to follow this miracle worker and he's going to take you directly away from that cross right there but because i study22:39my bible uh second timothy's a study to show thyself approved unto god you study the word of god it says in deuteronomy 13 god says i as god might just send a miracle worker in front of you just to let him do miracles just to test you will god test us yes or no all the time testing us all the time building our character our integrity okay i will test you just to see will you keep following me as god will you follow the miracle worker okay so it's right there in deuteronomy 13 for you okay23:07so this morning guards what up okay good thing with your young ones okay ask them when they come home from school high school or college every single day you talk to them or you text them tell me something you heard that was unbiblical in one of your classrooms today great question to ask your kids especially college well high school but especially college as well because i'm teaching you to think with your guards up you see testing everything that professor says across the way here because i've seen23:34more of our young ones walk away from jesus christ uh because of what's said behind a professor's uh pulpit it's not a podium to professors it's a pulpit for professors they're preaching to your kids okay but if you have guards up i'm sorry you won't be pulling me away but i thank god those four young men weren't pulled away from their faith at auburn because then they came and reached me as well does that make sense okay so guards up all the time go to verse two son of man speak to the children of thy24:00people and saying to them when i bring a sword upon the land if the people of land take a man off their coast and set them for their watchman key word this morning's watchman i want you to know what a biblical watchman is and make a commitment to be a biblical watchman if when he sees the sword come upon the land he blows the trumpet and warns the people then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet and taketh not warning if the sword come and take him away his blood shall be upon his own head24:25five he heard the sound of the trumpet and took not warning his blood shall be upon him but he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul now watch verse six but if the watchman sees the sword come and blows not the trumpet and the people be not warned if the sword come and take any person from among them he has taken away in his iniquity but his blood will require at the watchman's hand24:48okay here's the picture back in the day you didn't have cnn and fox news and satellites and drones and stuff okay so what is you built a wall around your city and you chose a watchman to stand up on the wall and had a very simple job look in the distance that's all their job was okay and when they would see an army come to the rise they'd pull the trumpet out and blow the trumpet and warn the people in the city trouble was coming they'd see a big dust clouds and there'd be horses or chariots so they'd pull the25:15trumpet out blow the trumpet warn the people in the city trouble was coming all right now was it the watchman's job to go down the ladder go in the city and put everyone's armor uzis knives and staves on was that his job nope simple job see trouble come and pull the trumpet out blow the trumpet warn the people in the city trouble's coming all right let's say that we did the same thing let's say we built a wall around odinville because you and i both know we can't trust those people from birmingham and uh you've been there before i was there last night got it as quick as i could25:42okay i totally understand okay so we built the wall around odinville and you're going to choose a watchman to stand up on the wall now is this an important job yes or no extremely important done incorrectly can cost the entire city its life okay pretend it's a classroom might be a school teacher so raise a hand up what's a certain quality what's a certain quality you would want in any watchman you would ever choose to stand up on that wall to protect your city pop some hands up what are certain26:08qualities you'd want sir a vigilance okay you want someone that's ready for danger okay because danger can happen can it not yes yeah so uh two mondays ago two weeks ago from this coming money i'm sitting at my desk working on something and a bullet comes through my window okay uh welcome to atlanta and uh so i got a bullet going through my window and all this stuff but you know what it put me in ready mode okay because i got ready because i didn't know if a second bullet was coming i didn't know okay26:38uh but i had to get ready because danger all of a sudden showed up on my doorstep i had to figure out what i was going to do okay but you have to be ready want vigilant people very good okay hands up what are certain qualities you want young man okay so okay energetic okay uh yeah so we don't want lazy folk up there right because if he's falling asleep at 3 a.m and that's where the enemy comes okay this we're the whole city's in trouble and do that so it would not be lazy folk job at all that's a very good one okay hands up what are27:05certain qualities yes ma'am observant paying attention right being alert right not sitting there reading a mark cahill book at 3 a.m okay when all of a sudden the enemy's coming up and doing that okay so there's certain times for certain things and certain times for other things okay but this is the time to be alert because it's not going to be probably the first night of your job probably won't be the first month it may be months and months and years later but you have to be ready27:30all the time okay what's another quality you'd want sir love why do you say that gotta love his people wow uh that's the second time only the second time i have ever had that answered love to that question the other time was two years ago i'm in a maximum security prison in rhode island and i drove up to27:55the prison and it looked just like alcatraz you've seen alcatraz on tv okay look just like alcatraz i walked in the place i said why do y'all look like alcatraz he said oh when they quarried alcatraz and cut all the rocks out they shipped them to rhode island and built the prison so actually that's why it looks like alcatraz the exact same rock as alcatraz i'm talking to uh maximum securities i'm talking to some hardened criminals the very last guy on the table over there i said sir he said love28:23i said what do you mean he said love he said i want to make sure the guy up on the wall loves the people in the city so much he doesn't care if it's 3 a.m he's going to wake his buddies up he doesn't care if he's going to wake mom up he just loves the people so much he doesn't want him to die he said love do you know that's the only time i've ever had that answer until you're the second person who said that you know one of the problems in christianity is we don't love people28:50enough we don't love people enough you know if i love somebody i wouldn't let anybody die and go to hell is that correct is that correct i told my older brother on the phone one day i said mike you can die and go to hell over my dead body mike i'll do everything in my power to make sure you repent of your sins and get born again and say mike i'll pray for you mike i want to see you in heaven one day and do that that's a tough conversation you know to have with your brother but i care about my brother he's going to know that his his middle brother younger brother loves him and does that love29:17okay now think about all those qualities shouldn't those all be qualities we have as christians yeah so it's not just for the wall those are all qualities we should have as christians as well okay now grab your bible go to verse 7 and watch where the whole thing changes in verse 7 so thou son of man i have set thee as a watchman unto the house of israel therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth and warn them from me when i say unto the wicked o wicked man thou shalt surely die if thou does not speak to warn the wicked from his way that wicked man shall die in his iniquity but29:46his blood while i require at thine your hand nevertheless if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it if it is not turned from his way he shall die in his iniquity but thou hast delivered thy soul now watch 10 and 11 therefore thou son of man speak unto the house of israel that she speaks saying of our transgressions and our sins be upon us and we pine away we rot away in them how should we then live verse 11 saying to them as i live sayeth the lord god i have no pleasure in the death of the30:15wicked but that the wicked turn from his way and live turn ye turn ye from your evil ways why will you die o house of israel beginning of 11 again saying to them as i live sayeth the lord god i have no pleasure in the death of the wicked it's not a good day for god when adolf hitler takes his last breath and dies and goes to hell it was not what god created him for it's not a good day for god30:41when idi amin and paul pot and joseph stalin and lenin take their last breath and die and go to hell it was not what god created them for okay uh george of george carlin without having to hit the pause button31:07i completely forgot how much he blasphemed the name of god and jesus christ i completely forgot because i watched him as a lost guy and you know there's certain things you can't watch no more once you're a saved guy isn't that right totally changed a new creation okay i couldn't but my question was who witnessed to him who handed him a gospel track on the streets of la and said mr carlin okay i need you to read this okay i want to see you in heaven one day mr carlin the god you mock and your routines31:34of the god you're going to meet one day but if mr carlin couldn't go back from five minutes to to planet earth he wouldn't come back okay um to do stand-up routines where they can get fifty thousand dollars in an evening wrestle with that for a second okay he wouldn't come back to do a jay leno or david letterman show he wouldn't come back to get on youtube and watch the last play of an auburn alabama football game he'd come back for five simple seconds repent of his sins get born again and saved okay take his last breath and get out of this crazy place but it's too late for him but who was32:03the biblical watchman that blew the trumpet and warned him trouble was coming that's all i can think about with robin williams okay who talked to him who talked to him okay and told him about jesus christ as he tried i have a newsletter coming out next month on him and literally he tried everything under the sun to get out of this depression except committing his life to jesus christ you know how many times the word depression shows up in the bible anyone know zero the word joy shows up 167 times32:31in the scriptures okay i was talking to some lady i said you're counting it she said oh i have the joy of the lord okay don't you live differently when you have the joy of the lord but who cared enough about george robin williams to talk to him about god and jesus christ well it's too late now there's no more talking to him okay think about that um steve jobs steve jobs sold one of his32:54companies for 400 million dollars steve jobs sold one of his companies for eight billion dollars all right i haven't mentioned apple yet my bible's as clear as a bell what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but what loses his soul what a terrible terrible trade-off i'd rather be regular folk any day of the work day of the week than famous folk who aren't right with the lord33:24any day of the week okay we'll teach you uh this afternoon just different ways to get in conversations but uh about two years ago i'm on the detroit airport and the guy is walking onto a train we're going to some tram and so we're and he's and he's got the steve jobs autobiography so it's a big picture of steve jobs so i just reached over i tapped the book i said hey what do you think man looks at me and says absolutely one of the meanest men i have ever read about in my life steve jobs was well known33:48for firing people on the spot well known for it okay well known for making people work christmas now he wasn't a christian but that's still family time correct well known for that okay steve jobs was well known for stealing other people's ideas and put them into his products well known for it thou shall not steal okay think about that for a second uh what's the symbol for apple apple with a bite out of it where's the only place in all of recorded history you see a piece of fruit34:18with a bite out of it that's the garden of eden that's been a symbol of rebellion against god for thousands upon thousands upon thousands of years yet it was a symbol he chose for his company why not a whole apple okay why not the word apple why not an apple tree how did he even choose the name apple anyone know how he chose the name apple he chose the name apple because he got into a certain musical34:44group anyone know the musical group he got into he got into the beatles okay and the beatles were put together by apple records okay and that's how i got into it is music powerful yes or no music's very powerful okay uh anyone know what religious faith he got into anyone know he got into hinduism anyone know how he got into hinduism he got into a certain musical group anyone know the name of it i just told you i'm a teacher and uh i just told you what's what group yeah very good just wants a hook in the heart the mind or the flesh he just wants the hook in then he just starts the reeling process and i've seen more people through the secular music world completely walk35:41away from god and jesus because of the sexual nature of it and all that okay be very careful okay but guess what i wondered who witnessed to this guy i found out about a man that worked for steve jobs okay walked into his office one day one of his vice presidents sat across the table a christian man and shared jesus christ with him all right mr jobs wanted nothing to do with it did that man do his job yes or no he did his job so he was a biblical watch he blew the trumpet he warned the people36:10he warned him trouble was coming without jesus christ their choice what to do with the warning okay our job is just to blow the trumpet okay um do you think people in tuscaloosa were glad when the tornado sirens went off a couple years ago yeah it saved a lot of lives okay so we like when warning sirens go off okay we like that except it uh one something last night at my hotel when the warnings started going off in the hotel okay is something happened in my hotel and the sirens go36:38off and i'm not taking i'm calling the front desk is this for real okay because i just wanted to sleep okay and thank goodness it was just a water main break something simple and uh but it didn't affect me so i just wanted to sleep okay but we're thankful when the sirens go off and do that think about that for a second do you know when steve jobs on his deathbed his sister came out one week later the last couple months of his life he spent it all with his wife and family because they made a fatal air during his business career he forgot to spend time with who his wife and his family men you do not37:07get a do-over on raising your kids fellas okay you need to spend ample time with your wife and your kids okay because they grow up quick and they're gone your influence factor time is now out the window and someone else will be influencing them be very careful okay at the end of his in the emergency in the hospital room he's with his family said goodbye to each person his sister said this one week later he looks above their heads just looks in the distance he went oh wow oh wow oh wow37:32flatlined and died he saw something before he died he didn't say what it was but he saw something y'all this is serious business okay if we care about people we'll blow the trumpet warn people troubles coming completely your choice what you do with the warning okay i was flying to uh newark new jersey a couple years ago on a plane flight and sitting next to me is a guy who worked for the cia so cat i kept asking him all these questions he couldn't answer it was a lot of fun and uh i kept asking these38:01big conspiratorial questions i guess i didn't have a high enough security clearance or something so as darren and i were talking back and forth darren looked me said he said uh well by the way he said i'm an agnostic that's exactly what heather told me behind the counter at the best western last night i'm an agnostic okay now if you're taking notes write these two things down okay if you know these two simple things you'll be ahead of you'll be ahead of 90 of all people when it comes to sharing your faith in jesus christ two very simple things okay first thing very simple okay when it comes to38:27sharing your faith sharing your faith isn't a presentation sharing your faith is a conversation very easy simple thing and please remember sharing your faith isn't a presentation sharing your faith is a conversation okay jesus had a conversation with the woman at the well he had a conversation with the rich young ruler paul had a conversation with felix he had a conversation with agrippa okay so all we do is go out and have conversations and then present things during the conversation all38:56right does that make sense yes or no okay now can all of us have conversations we do it all the time but typically we leave them at temporary conversations and don't flip the switch and make it an eternal conversation we're going to show you how simple it is to do that okay second thing to remember okay if anyone ever says anything in a conversation and you don't know what it means just ask them okay i'm an agnostic what do you mean by agnostic well i'm an atheist got that one yesterday well39:21what do you mean by atheist okay well i believe in evolution ask the question what do you mean by evolution because there's two branches to it one branch is unscientific and unbiblical one branch is scientific and biblical at the same point okay i gotta know which branch we're walking now if i can decide where we're going in the conversation okay if someone tells you they're a christian ask the question what do you mean by what christian okay uh we always get the right answer that question39:47oh not at all well i'm a good person we'll show you this afternoon how to break through that one okay um uh i go to church does going to church make you a christian no going in the garage make you a car no going to mcdonald's make your hamburger no going to the barn make you a cow no going to church doesn't make you something i hope you go to a good strong church and all that but it doesn't make you something okay now agnostic all it means is they're kind of in the mushy middle not enough evidence to push40:14them to believe in god not enough not to believe in god they're just kind of in the middle usually fun people to chat with good thinkers usually very good questions as well and big readers always big readers okay and so as we're talking back and forth then darren tells me he said oh by the way he said i was on flight 93 september 11th 2001 now wait a minute that's the plane that went down where pennsylvania where everybody what died but they're all still what40:40no that's one of the lies of the world they're all still alive that's the difference okay the world is trying to teach you death means over with michael jackson dead gone okay robin williams dead gone uh elizabeth taylor dead gone that's not what the bible means by death all death is is opening up the door to the other side that's all the term means okay matter of fact in the king james bible many41:08times it uses the word asleep for death i think it's a great term because if you're asleep you eventually what you just wake up on the other side now more of a southern term you'll hear the term pass so and so passed i think it's a great term for death because all he does pass to what the other side but depending on jesus to terms if you go to heaven or hell depending on what you do with jesus christ and do that okay but obviously he wasn't physically on the plane because because he's sitting next to me so i said what do you mean that was a tuesday morning in 2001 he said the41:37friday before my boss calls me up and says uh darren i need you to switch your flight to monday september 10th okay i need you to get to california day earlier he switches his flight to monday september 10th he said mark on my wall is a picture frame there's a ticket inside there it says flight 93 september 11th 2001 he was that close to being on that plane flight he's an agnostic so i said darren was that luck was that chance was that god that kept you off the plane flight he looked at me and42:03said yes yes yes okay he knew something kept him off that plane flight he knew it he knew it he knew it i will i i've met more people from new york that something happened that morning they were one train car behind on the train to get into the world trade center okay crazy stories they will tell you okay i said darren the reason god kept you off that plane flight was to hear the rest of the story here's the rest of the story okay we talked about sin repentance the cross the resurrection just laid42:28it out for him okay i said do you like to read i said love to read okay gave him i said darren you need to search this out okay because one day i'm on the plane flight one day i'm in the tornado okay one day i take my last breath i just need to know where i'm going okay see how simple our job is to pull the trumpet out and what blow the trumpet and warn the darrens of the world it's his choice now what he does with it does that make sense so we have a very simple job as christians warn people but now it's their free will choice what they're going to do with that all right i'm on a plane flight going to um42:57wichita kansas i have a guy next to me joe we're talking back and forth and as we're chit-chatting i don't have an in yet okay so what we teach we'll just teach you different ways to make an in you can open up the door with somebody so i ask the question all the time hey joe can ask you an interesting question it's an easy hook i use it with waiters and waitress all the time hey can ask you an interesting question what's everybody say sure what do you got okay i love interesting questions so i'd love to ask but i love when people ask me interesting questions i said joe can ask you an interesting43:25question he said sure i said when you were younger as a kid did you grow up in religious faith or belief or tradition as a child okay and now 90 to 95 percent of all people will tell you what yes they grow up in something okay now that you're older works on any age group a teenager up to an age works in any age group now that you're older is it more important to you or less important you've gotten older okay now most people say what they say less important okay but wait as we're getting older we're getting closer to what dying so shouldn't become more important okay see how the walk is a43:54very easy transition watch what happened i said joe um when you were younger as a kid you grew up in religious faith or belief or tradition tradition as a child i said yeah i said methodist a little edginess to his voice i said okay i said now that you're older he's probably mid 50s now that you're older i said is it more important to you or less important he said less important with a most definite edge to his voice okay so i just said i said joe did anything happen along the way that kind of pushed you away from god he said yes it did okay with the most the most definite edge to his voice44:24okay now if you ever get this this is all i ever do okay i said joe if you feel comfortable can you tell me what happened now the reason i do that is because one even if he doesn't tell me what happened can i still blow the trumpet and warn him yeah piece of cake easy that's not gonna be an issue but i've learned through the years many people you meet want to get something off their what chest okay they want to talk about something they're just seeing if i can tell you that that's really what's going on that's why over 80 percent it's in the book the watchman over 80 percent of the44:53witness encounters in the bible are one stranger to a complete total stranger strangers like talking to other strangers because that means i can pretty much tell you what anything and i'll probably never see you again at work or at school the next day so that's that's why you want to talk to strangers and do it's very biblical we explain in the book okay joe if you feel comfortable can you tell me what happened all of a sudden he puts his head down45:18he's bobbing his head up and down complete total silence you ever had that awkward silence in a conversation before now whenever that happens two things one it's never as long as you think it is okay trust me it's not if you had a videotape of it it's not as long now this one was actually very long i do this for a living it was pretty long second thing is if they're being quiet you be what quiet i've had to learn this one okay something's happening over there that i have no clue what's going45:43on i just need to let him the spirit whatever's going to go on just let it happen he's got his head down it was a pretty long time he's got his head down he pulls it up he said okay he said a stalker came after my daughter uh we had to get the police involved he said the stalker came after my wife we had to get the police involved he said the stalker broke the restraining order he was arrested and thrown into juvenile detention center he was a 17 year old46:09young man can 17 year olds do wicked things yes or no wicked evil things are you reaching these people for jesus christ because if you're not satan is satan's having a field day with a lot of teenagers today okay we've got to reach the young ones and the old ones for jesus christ he said one morning at my house at 5 a.m my daughter let that a blood curdling scream at 5 a.m he said i came running out of my bedroom and the stalker is standing in the middle of my house with a rifle in the middle46:36of his house at 5 a.m okay he shot out the sliding glass doors he was standing in his house at 5 a.m okay now think about this for a second okay 5 a.m your daughter's screaming there's a man in 10 to 15 feet away from you with a gun there's past history think about for a second what would you do with somebody in your house like that and do that okay um i'm not typically i have people give47:01me answers i'm not going to do that just for time but think about what you would do that's happening in your house uh fellas the male species is it not our job to protect our wives our daughters and our sisters yes or no yes or no yes that's our job okay it's amazing to me to watch young ladies migrate towards military bases and go out and sometimes marry some of the biggest pagans on planet earth47:28as long as i know one simple thing will that man what protect me okay i see it all the time okay yet it's us biblical men should be protecting the ladies is that correct yes all that bullet can do is send me where i swear i want to go right galatians 1 paul or philippians 1 paul said for me to live is christ and to die is gain it's a cute little verse until you get to live it47:54but fellas it's our job to protect our wives our daughters and our sisters is that right young men as well that's a sister that happens okay joe's not a believer i said joe what'd you do he's also he said i rushed that man i ran straight for him two bullets to the stomach i said what'd you do joe he said i kept going he tackled that kid he said i was wrestling with him on the floor he said mark it was extremely bloody he slips out of my hands he runs out of the house the police48:22finally show up they catch him at the end of the street he's laying on the floor and he said wait a minute he said where's my wife at he gets up he goes the front door opens the front door his wife is laying face down in the snow shot and killed uh the gunman was waiting behind the bushes shot and killed the wife came to the back of the house and that's how the rest of the encounter played itself out joe looked at me and said okay always remember conversations go what both directions now we're48:48going to teach you this afternoon even if you didn't sign up come anyways at one o'clock we're going to teach this afternoon how do you answer questions and how do you answer questions you don't know how to answer we'll actually go through that as well when those come up okay but he said i have a question for you so this is a good point so even if i can't answer the question we're still at a good point in the conversation okay he said mark i have a question for you i said okay joe he said mark how can there be a god with my wife who is dead and this man who's alive in a prison ohio how can49:14there be a god legitimate question yes or no legitimate question where i come from bingo we start talking back and forth backward he had all these great questions and you and i have got all these great what answers that's why i want to talk with people because i know we have the answers to the big questions they're having in life okay i said joe do you like to read he said no i don't so i gave him one of my books um i uh i don't give up easy and i signed it i gave it to him when we landed49:40in wichita he was 55 pages into the book okay think about that for a second okay he said mark this really helped me answer my questions oops there we go again that whole world's got questions you and i got what answers that's why we want to engage a waiter waitress we want to engage someone on a telephone call a relative that we i want to engage people because i know we have the answers that they're looking for okay um uh gave him the book and he told me uh shook my hand twice50:06thanking me for the conversation twice so a lot of us think no one wants to talk to us you're gonna people are gonna thank you for taking the time to chat with them and do that okay um then he uh he tells me oh by the way the man got a 30-year sentence he said mark this happened 20 years ago i'm like what the whole time i'm talking with him i'm thinking it happened when yeah like yesterday his whole face said yesterday but it was 20 years ago because i just forgot you50:33know he has to relive it every time he tells it and that's what he was wrestling with over there do i want to tell it because i have to relive it one more time and do that okay he said mark my biggest fear is 10 years from now he's gonna get out of jail and do what come after who oh yeah not him who his daughter okay and one thing fellas know you don't mess with our daughters right you don't mess with our daughters and do that okay um this man had no peace he had zero peace so we share with him51:02the prince of peace okay remember when you have a trumpet you don't have to blow the trumpet loud did i need to shout at joe i didn't need to shout at joe he was hurting pain all these years later still in pain okay but does joe get to heaven because his wife was shot and killed no he gets to heaven when he repents of his sins and gets born again and say but if i care about joe i'll pull the trumpet and blow the trumpet and make sure joe hears the truth then it's his choice what he does with the truth okay i wrote a book called uh one thing you can't do in heaven do you know what the51:31one thing you can't do in heaven yeah you can't share with a lost person because why they won't be there ever going to reach them got to reach them where here when now okay now that's exactly right so that's what this book is all the basics how do you break through the fear of alex51:56Rodriguez in this book michael jordan's book why i met him and if i meet people i don't ask for autographs and pictures i don't ask for tickets i ask questions instead had a fascinating talk with dominique wilkins the basketball player a couple weeks ago in atlanta airport just got ran into him threw a question out there bingo we start rolling okay just do that okay i can't tell you how many people i've met who've read this book put it down and boldly share their faith in jesus christ real simple easy read um you heard of uh albert puholz the baseball player he's a famous baseball player52:23was with st louis cardinals now he's at los angeles angels i'm actually friends with him and we became friends over this book he read this book as people called up said i would like to meet you okay so i was in st louis one time watch what i did we're having uh at my hotel after a game one night we're sitting there talking he's the first baseman at the time for the st louis cardinals okay very strong christian man i said albert i said aren't you the first baseman for the cardinal he said you mark you just watch him play you know i'm the first baseman i said have you ever thought about sharing your faith people come to first base albert i said they're standing right there albert i said they can't go52:51anywhere albert i said all they can do is steal and you can say thou shalt not steal albert have you thought about this okay well uh he picks me up to drive me to the airport the next morning so i'm gonna take you up on that he actually took me up on that and he called me a couple days later said man i did i witnessed on first base and he talked to guys and then he said the next day he would go in the other team's locker room he'd hand the christian guys one thing you can't do in heaven the lost guys53:17one heartbeat away in books we're literally going through major league baseball because a man stood on first place first base and witness and shared his faith in jesus christ okay shouldn't we share our faith in our workplaces yes or no yes that's where we spend most of our time at we need to be bold there and do that okay so real simple and then the book the watchman uh that's where some people people like this talk so much we just put it into a book uh but in this book it's got both those stories a story of joe as well but in this book i got to witness to uh herschel walker uh remember uh you young people53:43know kanye west i ran into kanye west in atlanta had a fascinating 15 minute talk and just threw a question out there bingo we go back and forth and have this conversation so the watchman if you want to be fired up to share your faith uh those two books will really encourage you to do that and one thing we always teach is remember to be a leader you got to be a reader very important to be a leader you got to be a reader i do prison ministry work and you'll be stunned at how many men you meet in prison that can't what they can't read so there's 90 of the jobs you cannot have on planet earth because you54:13can't read and it's a trick of satan okay it's a trick of satan because then you can't read what the bible the word of god it's a total trick and do that okay so to be a leader you got to be a reader okay um seriously i got rid of tv 20 years ago it was sucking up way too much of my time okay i'd rather read a book and then i began to write books as well but if i'm spending all that time on tv and video games and all that stuff i don't have time to do that okay um robin williams i just done some54:40research on him he got into completely totally got into video games first person shooter games okay you find this all the time with the school shooters and the first person shooting games okay hours and hours he would be in a cubby holed up into his beautiful place up in san francisco well you think now as he's on the other side don't you think he would have wished he would have shut that machine off and picked up the word of god and read the word of god now i bet it's rumbling through his head right now and doing55:10that but he doesn't get a do-over he had one shot be careful of how you use your time okay and then uh how how many people in here have lost people you're trying to reach for jesus region have lost people you're trying to reach okay let's try that again how many people have lost people you're trying to reach for jesus okay should be all of us right um how many people have immediate family members that aren't born again and save immediate family okay me too somebody asked you would you write a book to lost people since you spend so much time with them okay so we wrote this book one heartbeat away we geared it for lost people but christians of all the apologetics um how do you prove there's a god55:38how do you prove the bible true i mean good stuff that we all need to know this okay we walk you through the 10 commandments leave you right at the cross that's not what you want to do we've had atheists read this book become born again muslims read this book become born again a catholic nun read the book became born again and this book here i got to share jesus with um do you remember vanilla ice ice ice baby remember him uh he's in the book ran to him one time uh magic johnson's in the book but tiger woods in the book i ran to tiger woods in orlando and i'll tell you more of the story this56:08afternoon but i just threw a question out there bingo 10 to 12 minute conversation just by throwing a good question to get somebody to think and do that okay we've had people take this book give it to all their relatives give it to all their employees i had an eye doctor get a hold of me he said mark i'm an eye doctor he said um i don't want my patients just to physically see i want them to what spiritually see okay he so he started putting his book in his waiting room i know numerous doctors who do that he emailed me one time he said mark i've already gone through 1500 of your books56:36he said i need a thousand more so you would not believe what's going on this doctor's office he said we're having church every monday every tuesday okay because it's his office it's so he runs it that way matter of fact a doctor friend of mine in birmingham he puts little stickers on his books that say please steal me because he wants the books to walk out okay and do you know i've actually heard from some of his people because my emails in the book they actually emailed me and they told me where they picked the book up at it made a huge impact in their life so think about how you can do that reaching people i got an email the other day from a guy world war ii veteran he picked up57:06this book in a va hospital but he put his phone number in the email so i called the guy 89 years old world war ii veteran machine gunner battle of the bulge okay do i have history on the phone i got history i start picking this man's brain we're talking back and forth and he looked at me said sir he said i saw this book in a va hospital it was sitting on a on a table and so he said well i figured i could take it home he said i took it home i'm a time and a half through this book he said57:34sir he said i have 300 years of catholicism in my life okay he said sir i have now committed my life to jesus christ and jesus christ alone for my salvation okay he said do you have anything else to read my mind is sharp as a tack and i love to read i love older people i said sure what's your what's your address so i sent him all my other books we've all freed the military and um gave it to him three months later emails me back he said sir i've read this book three times now57:59i'm sharing my faith in jesus christ with everybody i get a chance to meet so think about how you plant a seed watch what god does with that a year ago get a message at the ministry i call it back a love accent so get this accent call this lady up lucia hey lucia where are you from i live in san diego i said no no where's that beautiful accent she said it's german i said oh great how'd you get from germany to san diego she said no no no no i came from argentina wait a minute how'd the germans58:24get to argentina anyone know world war ii remember after world war ii a lot of the germans uh yet went down to josef mengele they all went to argentina because they accepted them okay she tells me on the telephone she said um my grandparents were nazis my parents were nazis she said my uncle wrote the book i paid hitler i googled it it's a legitimate book her uncle was the money man for the third58:53reich he'd go to the steel industry get a million marks give it to the third he collected money for hitler's what he did okay and she says me on the telephone she said when i was a kid i learned about hitler but i didn't learn about god moms and dads it's so exciting to see these young people here because you're teaching them about god as young kids because we have other people teaching them about communism or hitler back in the day so i thank god to see your young ones here and getting that biblical foundation that they didn't get okay somebody gave her one heartbeat away she's a59:22mental level genius and just reading studying so i helped her with some questions she just called me three weeks ago left me a message okay mark i just want to let you know okay i'm born again and saved now okay i trust hitler no more i trust jesus christ now okay thank you for this book okay well i don't know why she's thanking me it was one of you somebody in san diego gave it to her i never met the lady okay but see what we do we plant seeds when you plant seeds you blow trumpets and warn people trouble's coming59:51okay so as you walk out the books are all they're back there were the speaker and tomorrow we go to uganda we're missionaries to uganda we have a second bag with us and the airline is charging us 200 for the second bag okay now that's called the ripoff correct isn't the plane already going to uganda it's already going to you it's not good what's the big deal here okay but they're always trying to get a nickel out of you said sir we don't have the money but this bag is all full of what bibles gospel tracks okay we don't have the money sir1:01:38we just took 200 out of this box we're going to get this back to uganda we'll get this literature all across uganda thank you very much okay y'all don't we serve a great god we serve a great god but jesus said it's more blessed to give than what receive and i take those words extremely seriously for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son listen okay one of the big problems1:02:03in christianity in 2014 is we're not givers we're takers okay and it's it's it's just lost people will tell me their view of christianity is not you coming to their school and delivering 400 lunches for teachers that's their view of christianity is tbn with 1-800 numbers give me give me give me christianity is give you give you give you i have a whole chapter in the watchman just crazy things that have happened since i learned to be a biblical giver not a mark giver a biblical giver but remember1:02:32giving has nothing to do with money can't you give your time i think it's a much bigger investment than money is actually can't you give your talents can't you help someone one of your an atheist kid in one of your classroom study for the test that they're not ready for and you're giving your talent and then you get to witness to them as well okay so look for ways to give if you have a need take out of the box because we need to be biblical givers and trust you when you give it opens up wonderful doors when you share your faith afterwards and do that okay so those are there pulled up your church this morning there was one thing i had to see walking in that actually i wanted to see in a sense what was that i drove into your church what did i see the cemetery because the cemetery is the great equalizer1:03:25i'm hitting golf balls with charles barkley here in birmingham one time and another guy and we're hitting golf balls somewhere and across the highway there's a cemetery i said hey fellas look they looked i said you see it see a cemetery i said the great equalizer they said what i said tall or short black or white asian hispanic rich or poor we all go to the cemetery you know what the big question is don't you no i said where do you go after the cemetery is the big1:03:53question i was speaking in south alabama at a military high school i got there early it was beautiful spring day and there was a cemetery next to the school the stories in one of my books i started walking in the cemetery i typically don't hang out in cemeteries but i decided to do it this one day and there's i see these old tombstones i'm looking at this stuff all of a sudden i stopped i couldn't get my eyes off this one tombstone 18 year old boy 1882 died in 19 or died at 18 gone but that's not what hit me it was 1996 20 years later i'll still never forget this what hit me was he1:04:23had been dead five times longer than he had ever been alive and i stood in front of that tombstone i said wait a minute mark you're gonna be dead five times ten times a hundred thousand times longer you're ever gonna be alive mark you're sure you got the right answer and mark you know you do you need to be telling people you got the right answer time's a precious commodity right it's ticking by quick okay use your time very very wisely okay for the lord jesus christ1:04:51okay use your this church if this is not a soul-winning church but father this is a bold passionate church they can't wait to walk out and meet a waiter and waitress they can't wait to pick up the phone today and call a relative they can't wait to get some simple basic training on how1:05:29to do it father god and then a man of god is going to walk in here and he's going to realize this is a biblical church that goes into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature father remind us i love the scriptures but they're so simple all witnessing is is one regular person father telling another regular person about jesus christ can't wait to walk five steps off this stage and go back to regular person mode as we're all in this together father god but we need a move of god here father too many1:05:57people look at alabama and see football wouldn't it be great to see the move of god that's happening on bound with the fire gets going and starts moving over to mississippi and georgia and tennessee and moving out in all these other places but father it's our job be biblical watchmen father i ask that you're going to touch people's hearts one if they're not born again and saved that
