  All throughout the Psalms, in the New Testament, Psalm 122, Psalm 133, just to name a couple, We do see commands to come and to gather and to worship. Now, two weeks ago, we talked about this word, sanctification. Okay, now what is sanctification? It's the process for a believer of being transformed into the image of God. And we believe that here at Bethel, corporate worship plays a vital role in our sanctification.

  Be equipped. Reach unity in verse 13. You know, the Lord wants us to be unified. When you grow, we grow. And when I grow, you grow. So are we growing towards unity? You think about the words that come throughout Scripture. Psalm 133. How beautiful, how pleasant it is when brothers and sisters dwell together in unity. It's like the dew of Hermon.

  Well, I've chosen a passage that's an unusual passage. It's a passage that was used as the pilgrims would come from all over the world to Jerusalem for Passover, for Pentecost, for some of the other festivals. Psalm 133. As they got to Jericho, those that came from the north, they would take a road up from Jericho to Jerusalem, 20 miles long. And instead of complaining about it being an uphill road all the way,

  And instead of complaining about it being an uphill road all the way, they would sing songs all the way up there. They're called the Ascent Songs. And this is one of them. It's just a short song. Psalm 133. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.
