And brother and sister, I would remind you, Psalm 139, Lord, you have understood my thoughts from far away. So now that we know how we might feel, and at the same time that God knows, how do we present our case before the Lord? Number one, we approach God with an honest faith. Again, an honest faith is not an absent faith. And we see this lament, not only in Jeremiah, we see lament, people crying out all over Scripture.

Search me, God, and know my heart.

I believe this is what, this is what David is praying in Psalm 139, 23. He says, Lord, search me, God. Know my heart. Test me and know my concerns.
