Never forget in Exodus 14 that God parted the Red Sea. This is Exodus language to remind the people of God. Listen, God has always protected his people. Don't you remember the time you were in the wilderness and you were hungry and there was no food? God gave bread from heaven called manna. Don't you remember when you cried out in Egypt and you could find no way of escape? God delivered you.

the Red Sea the Egyptians pursued your ancestors with chariots and with horsemen as far as the sea and your ancestors cried out to the Lord so he put darkness between you and the Egyptians it brought the sea over them engulfing them your own eyes saw what I did to Egypt so after that you lived in the wilderness for a long time so real quickly I want to go back I want to look at this story that he's referencing in Exodus 14

I see no more beautiful way to begin this sermon than to see parents who are dedicating a child into the Lord. Saying we want our family to be in right order. And the verse they chose for Paul, which we didn't share earlier, I want to share now, is Exodus 14, 14. Which says the Lord will fight for you. That our life should match our confession. That our life should match our confession.
