What is the point of Revelation one day saying that the sun and the moon will be there, but they're decoration? Because the light of the world, the lamp is the lamb. Jesus says that the point of all of this is you. Church, you're the point. God sent his only son as the light of the world. That those who are walking in darkness might see and have the light in them.

So for you who have been following with us any length of time, again, we started in Revelation 1 and we're going to end in Revelation 22. The first five chapters of Revelation are answering the same question, right? It's answering the question, who is worthy to open the scroll and to release these judgments upon the world? And only one is worthy. And John doesn't see a cheetah or a lion. He sees a lamb as though slain.

So Revelation 1 through 5, we answer this question. One question. Who is worthy? It is the reason that the Apostle John was weeping and he said, "God, there is no creature worthy to open the scroll. There is no creature worthy to open your will." And then he saw in Revelation chapter 5 a lamb as though slain. But this lamb wasn't dead. This lamb was standing. Because Jesus Christ lives again.

…We have the key. His name is Jesus Christ. So any interpretation of any biblical book that does not include Jesus as the only one who is worthy, we have completely missed the picture of why God gave us his word. That's Revelation 1 through 5. And you say, well, Pastor, we're not in Revelation 5 anymore. Now what? We've answered the question, who is worthy.

But then we see this in John. He says the revelation of... Okay, Revelation chapter 1, the last book of the Bible, revelation of Jesus Christ. And I don't know if you understood fully what John was doing, but I would say this. If you don't like Jesus Christ, you're not going to like revelation. Because John makes his word about the Messiah.

So when you turn on social media today and some of you think it's the greatest thing in the world and some of you throw your arms up in the air and you say, how can we live like this? Repeat to yourself what John says in Revelation 1.5. Jesus is the ruler of all the kings of the earth, period. And then he says to us, to him who loves us. Did you know that Jesus Christ loves you?
