  We pray this in Christ's name. Amen. If you open your Bibles, and you can go ahead and turn to the book of Mark, chapter 2. If you were looking for passages on the son of Alphaeus, you would find very few. You would only find him in the listing of the disciples, the apostolic list. And he's always in the last group of four, but he's first.

  Andrew brought individuals to Jesus, but it was Peter who preached to thousands at Pentecost. Well, in Mark chapter 2, we hear of another son of Alphaeus. Look at Mark 2, 14, if you have your Bibles open. Pray that you do. Mark 2, Jesus, verse 13, went out again beside the sea, and the whole crowd was coming to him, and he was teaching them. Then, passing by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at a toll booth.
