      You know, Jesus loved the Old Testament. And I'm thankful that we find ourselves here today in the book of Judges, chapter 3. And if you're not there in your Bible, I would invite you to turn there with me. I'll admit that studying for this sermon has been challenging. It's been convicting. Because I believe that when we look at stories in the Old Testament, I believe that we see ourselves. And I believe that we see our sin.

      And ultimately, it points out the need for God's grace to send a king who is not just a political figure, but an eternal savior. So, church, as we read today, we have a three-part plan. Let's see the text faithfully. Let's see ourselves. And then let's see Jesus. So, that is the plan. And let's begin reading together. Judges chapter 3, starting in verse 12. It says this.

A 2020 study has showed that Americans have an attention span of around eight seconds.
