One scholar, Herman Bavink, noted the final judgment does not contradict justification by faith, but reveals it. Our works do not save us, but they demonstrate our faith. They testify to what is genuine. James 2, faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. What happens when we die? There's a judgment of faith, and then we will all await the judgment of works.

So our desire this year and going forward is that we conquer St. Clair County and the world for Jesus Christ. One gospel conversation at a time. And you might think, well, that's a pretty big task to conquer the world for Christ. One, we worship and we serve God not for victory, but from victory.
