Genesis 6 verse 5. God's looking down on the world and he sees in verse 5 that the heart of man is desperately wicked at all times. God says about Noah's generation and so God destroys the entire planet by flood. Why would God do that? Because of the depravity of your heart and my heart. it's the language of Micah.

With was the word that Noah heard. When the Lord said to him, I will destroy the earth by flood. But in Genesis 6, I will establish my covenant with you. And for those who remember the story of the flood, do you remember how the door was shut? Noah didn't shut the door. The Lord shut the door. As a reminder, Noah, I am with you. Relational. From the burning bush, Moses heard the same in Exodus 3, verse 12.
