But thankfully, in Romans 13 and Titus 3, 1 Timothy 2 and 1 Peter, we have the New Testament specifically addressing civil authorities. And so we're going to look at Romans 13 this morning. And I pray that God would give us a biblical framework, how we live as Christians, how we live as aliens in a land filled with religious, political doctrine. So Romans 13, as we unpack Christ and politics.

And we're going to conclude our sermon series in Titus called Out of Order. And what Paul the writer does is he tells Titus, I have put you in Crete to set in order everything that remains. So let's read Titus 3 today. Lord, give us order in our lives.

Because we are loved. In Christ, you are loved. Jesus wants you to understand that. He wants us to live that out, to embrace it. Titus 3, verse 4. But when the kindness and the love of God, our Savior, toward man appeared. God loves you. God loves you. And what a heartwarming truth that is, to know that God doesn't just tolerate us because he has to.
