Families, wise families dedicate their children. And lastly, this. Proverbs 13. Some of you parents have been waiting for this verse. Here it is. Proverbs 13, 24. I would be remiss if I didn't read this verse on wisdom in families. He who spares his rod hates his son. He who loves him disciplines him promptly.

We don't plan a lot sometimes. We want to work and operate in the now. We have a need for a guide, so we must admit that. Isaiah 53, verse 6 says, Every one of us have strayed like a sheep. We've all left God's path to follow our own. Proverbs 13, verse 12 says, There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end leads to death. I love what the psalmist says in chapter 25, verse 9.
