  …And we will see that today. So let me give you the title and then we will pray. The title of today's message is simply, May his face shine upon you. May his face shine upon you. And I get that from two verses. Book of Numbers, chapter 6. The priestly blessing, which we'll read shortly. And then in Luke 9, 51 and verse 53, Jesus turns his face to Jerusalem.

  As if to say you are not worthy upon your sentence to look at the face of the king. Not even Moses in the Old Testament could see the face of God. God said, I'm so holy and pure, you can see my back. And you know what? If God's back is good enough for Moses, I'm okay seeing God's back. There's a priestly blessing in Numbers chapter 6. The greatest blessing that they could pronounce upon the kingdom.

  He's offering incense as prayers of saints. And he's going out and he's saying something, maybe Numbers chapter six. May the Lord bless you and keep you and may his face shine upon you. And so Zechariah has seen this angel. He's not believing in his heart. And so he comes forth from the holy place and he goes. And something is going on here because the word of God says the people understand that he's seen a vision.
