Savior

  But it was the gospel. It was glory. It was for you and for me. Don't miss the glimpse of glory in the crown of thorns. There's a second glimpse I want us to see. Not only the crown, but the robe. It points us forward, this purple robe. Mark 10, 34. And also Luke 18, which we have read earlier, says this, that they will mock him. That's Jesus. They will spit on him. They will flog him. They will kill him.

  They call him James the less. And in Mark chapter 10, verse 35, we have this interesting scenario that another James brings up. James the greater, ask the question, James the lesser, is in attendance. And James the greater, ask the greater one, Jesus Christ, this in Mark 10, verse 35.

Because God sent his only son into the world that we might all have eternal life.
