  Literally. Take him at his word. Trust in his word. Not even the Christian that accepts death. But for anyone in Christ Jesus, you might say that we have a unique relationship to death. For instance, let's look at Luke 9, verse 23. It's Jesus speaking. Then he said to them, if anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life

  And then in Luke 9, 51 and verse 53, Jesus turns his face to Jerusalem. And because he sets his face to Jerusalem, God's holy presence can now shine upon us because of what Jesus did at the cross. Let me pray and then we will open the word of God together. For all of our young boys and girls and our old boys and girls, let's pray. Father, we thank you for your holy word. We thank you that your spirit is still moving.
