…on a rescue mission for Saul's life. Maybe you can relate. Maybe you've been on a journey looking for something or someone. But for the first time, you realize Jesus has been on a search and rescue mission for you. In Luke 15, Jesus tells three stories in a row. There's a story of a lost sheep. And Jesus says that the shepherd leaves the found sheep and goes and finds the lost sheep.

…a story of a lost son who lives a sinful life and he comes back. And when he comes back, you know what he finds? He finds that the father has been waiting for him and looking for him. And in each time, Jesus says this, Luke 15. He says,

peculiar scene because if anyone touches a leper who has a skin disease that person who touches the unclean person is also unclean so the one who is cast out from society now makes you the person who's cast away from society and the Bible says that the Messiah touches him and heals him don't forget the parable that Jesus tells in Luke 15 the parable of the two lost sons one

lost prodigal son in Luke 15 Jesus says that the father threw his arms around the son's neck he embraced him threw a robe on him and said welcome home the one who is lost has been found we have a father who embraces the way of the righteous person God does not keep you at arm's distance

And adopt me. Scripture says that when you pray a prayer like that, that God hears. Because he's been waiting. Read Luke 15. The father was waiting for the prodigal son to return the whole time. Amen.

He says that in Luke 15, I tell you, in the same way, there will be much joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. That over 99 righteous who don't need repentance. The highest heaven is waiting and rejoicing at the salvation of the souls of men and women for Jesus. And when you find that salvation, there's a second thing we see here in this course. The second thing we have by the angels is what? Glory to God in the highest heaven.
