That's the context for what Peter asked. And we're reminded in this that even Jesus himself, he's headed to the cross. And in John 12, it says that he is troubled in his heart. John is telling us, be light, choose light, because Jesus is light. But it goes even deeper for the Christian. In John 12:36, John says this. This is Jesus speaking. While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light. Jesus said this, and then went away, and he hid from them.
