Same Moses, same location. The cloud covered the tent of meeting and the glory of God filled the tabernacle. Okay, so you're tracking God's glory is over the tabernacle.

"On the first month and the first day, the floodwaters dried up and Noah removed the ark's cover." Listen to that. The first month, on the first day, He found dry grounds in the ark, in the tabernacle. And in Exodus 40, on the very same month, many years later, the tabernacle here in Exodus is dedicated. On the very same month and day that God protected His people through an ark and a tabernacle, the ark in Moses' time was dedicated.
