  Now this is not the only time we've heard this language. Esther 1:1 says, And these events took place. Esther 2:1 Some time later. That was about four years later. Chapter three, verse one, after all of this took place. Earlier in chapter one, Queen Vashti was banished because she refused to bow to sexually abusive practices. Chapter two, sometime later, the Bible says, Esther herself in exile
