  Now this is not the only time we've heard this language. Esther 1:1 says, And these events took place. Esther 2:1 Some time later. That was about four years later. Esther 3:1 After all this took place. Another five-ish years. So these are summary statements that call us not to forget what has happened and do not forget what God has done in the periphery and in the in-between. Esther 3:1
